I was the lead graphic designer for the VanCougar newspaper, and the first to have this role. During an organizational rehaul I convinced the committee to create a position for the inDesign/Photoshop guru and while the structural changes cleaned up the grammatical and factual issues the newspaper was known for. I redesigned the brand from the ground up so that when we released our new paper clients gave it another chance and its reputation completely changed. Soon after we won an award from the Associated Collegiate Press for being the among the top ten bi-annual newspapers in the country.
